ボブ・ディランの4CD『The 50th Anniversary Collection』が欧州で100セット限定で販売

米ローリングストーン誌によれば、ボブ・ディラン（Bob Dylan）のデビュー50周年を記念した4CDボックスセット『The 50th Anniversary Collection』が昨年12月に欧州で100セット限定で販売されたとのこと。ソニー・ミュージックからリリースされたオフィシャル版で、フランス、ドイツ、スウェーデン、イギリスの一部店舗で販売され、またフランスおよびドイツ限定でDL販売も行われたとのこと。ボックスは計86曲で、1962年録音のスタジオ・アウトテイク＆ライヴ・トラックで構成されています。すでにオークションサイトeBayに出品されているようで、1000ドル（約9万円）以上の値が付いているそうです。

同誌によれば、このボックスは、売り上げを期待したものではなく、欧州での著作権対策のためにリリースされたもののようです。欧州では2011年に著作権の保護期間が50年から70年に改正されていますが、ソニー・ミュージックの関係者曰く、最初の50年に音源を使用しなかった場合は保護期間の延期の対象にはならない、とのことなので、今回のリリースとなったようです。
