アメリカ議会図書館が文化的、歴史的、芸術的に重要な録音物を保存することを目的に行っている「全米録音資料登録簿（National Recording Registry）」。新たに保存が決定した作品が発表されています。

2000年より開始された本制度には、少なくとも10年以上経った録音物を対象に、毎年25点ずつ選ばれています。

新たに保存が決定したのは、ジャネット・ジャクソン『Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814』、ジャクソン・ブラウン『Late for the Sky』、パット・メセニー『Bright Size Life』、アルバート・キング『Born Under a Bad Sign』、ジミー・クリフ『The Harder They Come』、Nas『Illmatic』、クール＆ザ・ギャング「Celebration」、カエルのカーミットの「Rainbow Connection」ほか
