ステレオラブ『Cobra and Phases〜』新装版から「Come And Play In The Milky Night」のリマスター＆デモ音源公開

10年ぶりに再始動したステレオラブ（Stereolab）は今年5月より、スタジオ・アルバム7タイトルのリマスター＆エクスパンデッド・エディション・シリーズをスタート。第2弾が海外で9月13日に発売されます。

今回のラインナップは

●『Emperor Tomato Ketchup』 (1996)
●『Dots and Loops』 (1997)
●『Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night』 (1999)

の3タイトルで、CDは2枚組、アナログレコードは3枚組。

新たに『Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night』から「Come And Play In The Milky Night」のリマスター音源とデモ音源が公開されています





リイシュー元はWarp Records／Duophonic UHF Disks。

いずれもメンバーのティム・ゲイン監督のもと、マスタリング・エンジニアのBo Kondrenによってオリジナル・テープからリマスタリングされており、さらに各作品にはデモ、オルタナティブ・テイク、未発表ミックスといったレア音源がボーナストラックとして追加されます。また初回生産限定アナログ盤はクリア・ヴァイナル仕様で、ポスターとティム・ゲイン本人によるライナーノートが封入されます。初回アナログ盤には宝くじスタイルのスクラッチカードも含まれており、受賞者には、年末に独占的なステレオラブのレコードが贈られる予定です。

ステレオラブは、5月にシリーズ第1弾として

●『Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements』（1993年）
●『Mars Audiac Quintet』（1994年）

を発売。また11月にはシリーズ第3弾として

●Sound-Dust (2001)
●Margerine Eclipse (2004)

をリリースする予定です。
