1980年前後の英インディー・シンセ・ポップ・シーンを詰め込んだ全80曲入りCD4枚組ボックスセット『Electrical Language: Independent British Synth Pop 78-84』が英国で発売中。5月31日発売。リリース元はCherry Red。

1978年から1984年にかけて、Mute Records、Rough Trade、4AD、Survival Records、Cherry Redなどからリリースされたシンセ・ポップ楽曲を集めたコンピ。有名バンドやシーンのレジェンドから、アンダーグラウンドのアウトサイダーやベッドルームの実験者まで多彩な80曲を収録。ハードカバー本仕様で、12,000語以上の解説や当時の写真も掲載されています
