キング・クリムゾン（King Crimson）が、スティーヴン・ウィルソン（Steven Wilson）による40thアニヴァーサリー・エディション・ステレオ・ミックスを収めた200グラム重量盤アナログレコードのボックスセット2タイトル、『King Crimson 1969-1972（邦題：紅王朝記 1969-1972 アナログ・ボックス1）』『King Crimson 1972-1974（邦題：紅王朝記 1972-1974 アナログ・ボックス2）』を海外で11月2日、日本で12月19日に発売。
『King Crimson 1969-1972』には『In The Court Of The Crimson King』『In The Wake Of Poseidon』『Lizard』『Islands』を収録。またこのボックスのみの収録となるスペシャル・コンピレーションLP『The Alternative Guide to King Crimson』（ディスク2枚）も収録されます。
『King Crimson 1972-1974』には『Larks' Tongues In Aspic』『Starless and Bible Black』『Red』を収録。さらに全収録曲を別ミックス、別テイクで再構成したこのボックス専用の特別編成LP『Larks' Tongues In Aspic (alt takes/mixes)』や、2013年に大幅拡張ヴァージョンとして登場したライヴ・アルバム『USA, Expanded Edition, 2013 mix』も収録されます。
すべてのアルバムは、40thアニバーサリーCD／DVD-Aシリーズのためにスティーヴン・ウイルソンが制作したハイレゾ・マスターをマスタリング・エンジニア、ジェイソン・ミッチェルがアナログ用に限界ギリギリまでラウド・マスタリングしたこのボックス専用マスターを使用しています。
日本盤は日本アセンブル仕様（200g重量盤アナログLP、アートワーク、専用ボックス、スペシャル・ブックレット＝ヨーロッパ制作、専用ボックス巻帯、日本語ブックレット＝日本制作）予定。
