U.K.サブス　15CDボックスセット『The Albums Volume 1』を6月発売

英パンク・バンド、U.K.サブス（U.K. Subs）が40周年を記念したCD15枚組のボックスセット『The Albums Volume 1』を海外で6月1日発売。リリース元はEdsel。

このボックスセット・シリーズでは、U.K.サブスがこれまで発表したアルバム26タイトルとシングルA＆B面曲をすべて収録する予定。U.K.サブスは、アルバム・タイトルの頭文字をアルファベット順に付けており、1979年の『Another Kind of Blues』から始まったそのルールも、2016年の『Ziezo』で完結しています。

第1弾となる『The Albums Volume 1』には、『Another Kind of Blues』（1979年）から『Mad Cow Fever』（1991年）までの初期アルバム13タイトルを収録し、さらにアルバム未収録のシングル曲やB面曲などレアな音源を収めた2枚のアルバムも収録されます。音源はすべてリマスタリングされています。
