ライ・クーダー　新ソロ・アルバム『The Prodigal Son』からタイトル曲のパフォーマンス映像を公開

ライ・クーダー（Ry Cooder）が6年ぶりにリリースする新ソロ・アルバム『The Prodigal Son』。この作品から「The Prodigal Son」のスタジオ・パフォーマンス映像が公開。



アルバムは海外で5月11日発売。リリース元はFantasy Records。

ソロ名義のスタジオ・アルバム・リリースは2012年の『Election Special』以来。新作は全11曲入りで、ライ・クーダーによるオリジナル曲と、過去100年のお気に入りのスピリチュアル（霊歌）のカヴァーで構成。レコーディングはハリウッドで行われ、ライ自身と、彼の息子であり、チーフ・コラボレーターでもあるドラマーのヨアキム・クーダーが共同プロデュースを手がけています。
