デヴィッド・ボウイ(David Bowie)の愛読書について語り合う「David Bowie Book Club」を、ボウイの息子で映画監督のダンカン・ジョーンズ(Duncan Jones)が立ち上げています。

“私の父は読者の獣でした”と語るダンカン。彼のツイッターによれば、このブック・クラブは、ボウイが自身のお気に入りの本100冊を選んだリスト「DAVID BOWIE'S TOP 100 BOOKS」(2013年)に基づいて行われるもの。いろいろと語り合うことで、ボウイが愛した作品をもっと深く理解しようという企画のようです。

第1弾はピーター・アクロイドの小説『魔の聖堂(原題:Hawksmoor)』。ブック・クラブに参加したい方は、2018年2月1日までに小説を読み終えている必要があるようです。
