フランキー・ゴーズ・トゥ・ハリウッド『Welcome to the Pleasuredome』　180g重量盤LP＆新装版CD発売

フランキー・ゴーズ・トゥ・ハリウッド（Frankie Goes To Hollywood）が1984年にリリースしたアルバム『Welcome to the Pleasuredome』。180グラム重量盤アナログレコードと新装版CDが海外で10月27日発売。

今回のリイシューはBMGの“Art of the Album”シリーズとして企画されたもの。“Art of the Album”では、そのアルバムが誕生した時代背景、作品においてのキー・プレイヤーや関係者、音楽とアートワークの創作と技術、リリースの影響＆残したものなどをテーマにした新規エッセイほかを掲載し、アートとしてアルバムを探究しています。

今回の『Welcome to the Pleasuredome』では、有名な音楽ジャーナリスト、ポール・フリン（Paul Flynn）がアルバムのストーリーを探究した新たなライナーノーツを掲載。またブックレットにはZTTカタログとフランキー愛好家のイアン・ピールから提供されたアーカイブからの貴重なアイテムも掲載される予定。

今回のリイシュー盤は現在、クラウドファンディングサイトのPledgeMusicにてプレオーダー・キャンペーンが実施されています。
