このレア音源集は、海外で12月2日に発売された、CD8枚組ボックスセット『The A&M Box Set 1970-1975』に収録されているもの。このボックスセットにはA&M時代の7枚のアルバム（リマスター盤）に加え、Bサイドやレア曲（うち5曲は未発表曲）を収録したレア音源集『The A&M Rarities (1970-1975)』も収録されています。
