エリック・クラプトン『The Complete Reprise Studio Albums Vol.2』からレア音源「Losing Hand」公開

エリック・クラプトン（Eric Clapton）が2001年から2010年にかけてリプリーズ・レコードに残した5枚のスタジオ・アルバムのリマスター・ヴァージョンと、同時代のレア音源をまとめたアナログレコード10枚組のボックスセット『The Complete Reprise Studio Albums Vol.2』。レア音源集から「Losing Hand」が公開



この作品は海外で2023年1月13日発売予定。

2022年9月に発売されたボックスセット『The Complete Reprise Studio Albums Vol.1』に続くもの。

『Vol.2』に収められるのは

●Clapton (2010)

のスタジオ・アルバム5タイトルと、2001年から2010年にかけてのレア音源を収めた『Rarities Volume II 2001-2010』です。

CD/DVDとしてリリースされた『Sessions for Robert J』は今回初めてアナログ盤でリリースされます。

各アルバムのリマスタリングはGateway Masteringのボブ・ラドウィックによって行われ、アナログ盤用のマスタリングはernie Grundman Masteringのクリス・ベルマンが担当しています。クラプトンの長年の共同プロデューサー兼エンジニアであるサイモン・クライミーが180グラム重量盤アナログレコードにプレスされたこれらのリマスターを監督しています。

『Me and Mr. Johnson』（当初はシングルLPとしてリリース）はさらに音質を高めるために3面ダブルアルバムとしてリマスターされ、LPの片面が20分を超えないようになっています（アルバムの4面にはエッチングが施されています）。

ボーナスLP『Rarities Volume II 2001-2010』はサイモン・クライミーが編集・プロデュースを担当。収録される8曲のほとんどは廃盤、入手困難、未発表のものです。Bサイドの「Johnny Guitar」や日本盤のみのボーナス・トラック だった「Losing Hand」などが含まれます。
