ヴァン・モリソン　2枚組の新アルバム『Latest Record Project Volume 1』発売　タイトル曲のビデオ公開

ヴァン・モリソン（Van Morrison）は新アルバム『Latest Record Project Volume 1』を海外で5月7日発売。リリース元はExile / BMG。

通算42作目のスタジオ・アルバム。新作は2枚組でロックダウン中に書かれた全28曲を収録。インフォメーションによると、新作は「ブルース、R&B、ジャズ、ソウルに対する彼の継続的な愛を掘り下げた」作品。発表によると、ツアーに出られなくなったモリソンは、ピアノ、ギター、サックスでアイデアを出しながら、常に曲作りに忙しくしていました。そこから生まれたのが、豊富な新曲のアイデアで、リズム・セクションとの作業から生まれた、ダイレクトさと躍動感に満ちたというこの作品です。
