デヴィッド・ボウイ、トーキング・ヘッズ、N.W.A.、ソニー・ロリンズ等、アメリカ国家保存重要録音登録制度の新規保存作品発表

アメリカ議会図書館が文化的、歴史的、芸術的に重要な録音物を保存することを目的に行っている国家保存重要録音登録制度（National Recording Registry）。新たに保存が決定した作品が発表されています。

2000年より開始された本制度には、少なくとも10年以上経った録音物を対象に、毎年25点ほどずつ追加保存しています。

今年度に登録されたのは、デヴィッド・ボウイ『The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars』、トーキング・ヘッズ『Remain in Light』、N.W.A.『Straight Outta Compton』、ソニー・ロリンズ『Saxophone Colossus』、ウェス・モンゴメリー『The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery』、イーグルス『Their Greatest Hits (1971〜1975)』ほか
