ジェントル・ジャイアント『The Power and the Glory』　CD＋Blu-rayリイシュー盤が日本でも発売に

ジェントル・ジャイアント（Gentle Giant）が1974年にリリースしたアルバム『The Power and the Glory』の最新リイシュー盤が日本盤化。リマスター＆リミックス・ヴァージョンを収録したCD＋Blu-ray版で日本盤は2016年1月25日発売予定。リリース元はMSI（ミュージック・シーン）。海外盤は発売済。

リマスター＆リミックスを担当したのはポーキュパイン・トゥリーのスティーヴン・ウィルソン（Steven Wilson）。

CDにはリミックス・ヴァージョンにボーナス・トラック2曲を収録。またブルーレイにはオリジナル・ミックス(Stereo LPCM)、スティーヴン・ウィルソンによるリマスター&リミックスのステレオ・ヴァージョン(Stereo LPCM)とDTS 5.1chヴァージョン(DTS 5.1 Master Audio)、インストゥルメンタル・ヴァージョン(Stereo LPCM)の計4種類のハイレゾ(96kHz/24bit)音源を収録。通常ブルーレイ・オーディオは静止画で収録されているものが殆どですが、本作は歌詞がアニメーションで音楽に合わせて動きます。

日本盤にはアルバム制作のエピソードを綴ったライナーノーツの対訳付。
