ピンク・フロイド（Pink Floyd）が1965年に初めてレコーディングした音源6曲を収めたEP『Pink Floyd 1965 - Their First Recordings』が海外でオフィシャル・リリースされて話題に。11月27日のブラック・フライデーにリリースされたこのEP（2枚組）は1000枚のみの限定プレス。全曲分の音源がアップされています。

今回のリリースは著作権／原盤権の延長が狙いと言われています。EUは2011年に音楽著作権の保護期間を録音後50年から70年に延長するルールを採用していますが、50年経過しても販売されていない録音は延長の対象外となるため、その対策として今回限定販売されたのでは？と言われています

【追記：2015/12/1】
ピンク・フロイドのFacebookページが更新され、リリースされたことが正式に発表されています。それによれば、リリースされたのは1000枚ほど。また収録された音源は、2016年の終わりごろにリリースを計画しているフィジカル・アイテムにも収録される模様です
