テレンス・トレント・ダービー（Terence Trent D'Arby）としての活躍でも知られるサナンダ・マイトレーヤ（Sananda Maitreya／2001年頃に改名）の新アルバム『The Rise Of The Zugebrian Time Lords』。日本でもiTunesにて配信がスタートしています。

通算10作目のスタジオ・アルバムで、レコーディングはイタリアのミラノにある自身のスタジオで行われています。本作はダブル・アルバムとなっており、ビートルズを含む4曲のカヴァーと23曲のオリジナル新曲で構成された全27曲を収録
