マイルス・デイヴィス（Miles Davis）の貴重音源を公式リリースするブートレグ・シリーズの第4弾としてCD4枚組の『Miles Davis At Newport 1955-1975: The Bootleg Series Vol. 4』が海外で7月17日に発売。リリース元はColumbia/Legacy Recordings。

本作にはニューポート・ジャズ・フェスティバルにおいてのマイルスのパフォーマンスを収めたもので、1955年、1958年、1966年、1967年、1969年、1971年、1973年、1975年の計8つステージの模様を収録。収録時間はトータル296分で、うち約4時間分がこれまで未発表であった音源です。
