U2が新アルバム『Songs of Innocence』をiTunesで無料配信中。全11曲入り。10月13日までiTunesで独占配信され、その後にCDなどでもリリースされるようです。スタジオ・アルバムの発表は2009年の『No Line on the Horizon』以来。プロデューサー／ミュージシャンとしてデンジャー・マウス（Danger Mouse）が制作に参加しています。今回の無料提供についてAppleはアルバムを入手できるのは「5億人以上」と述べ、「音楽の歴史の中で最も大きなアルバムリリース」と説明しています
