スマッシング・パンプキンズ（Smashing Pumpkins）が未リリース音源である、ビリー・コーガン（Billy Corgan）による「Jupiter's Lament」のソロ・ヴァージョンを公開。試聴可。この音源は96年ボックス・セット『The Aeroplane Flies High』のデラックス・エディションに収録



発売は日本（輸入国内盤）で8月14日、米国で7月23日。

本ボックスは、アルバム『Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness（邦題：メロンコリーそして終りのない悲しみ）』のシングルを集めたもので、オリジナル盤は

「Bullet with Butterfly Wings」
「1979」
「Zero」
「Tonight, Tonight」
「Thirty-Three」

の5ディスクで構成。

今回のリイシューではリマスタリングが施され、また各ディスクにはボーナス・トラックを追加。さらにボーナス・ディスクとしてライヴCDとDVDも同梱されます。ボーナス・トラックは計104曲（90曲の音源＆14曲の映像）。ボックスにはビリー・コーガンによる楽曲コメントおよびデイヴィッド・ワイルドによる書き下ろしライナー収録。国内盤には英文ライナー対訳および歌詞対訳が付属されます。

なお、海外では同日には5LP版も発売される予定です。
