ニール・ヤング『The Archives Vol. II: 1972-1976』から「Powderfinger」の未発表Ver公開

ニール・ヤング（Neil Young）は10枚組ボックスセット『The Archives Vol. II: 1972-1976』から「Powderfinger」の未発表ヴァージョン（1975年録音）を公開



ボックスセットは11月20日発売。2009年の『The Archives Vol. 1: 1963-1972』に続くアーカイブ・ボックスセットの第2弾。

今回は1972年から1976年までの作品に焦点を当てており、『Time Fades Away（時は消え去りて）』『On the Beach（渚にて）』『Tonight’s the Night（今宵その夜）』『Zuma』を発表した頃に制作された楽曲をフィーチャーしています。

このボックスセットには、未発表曲12曲に加え、ジョニ・ミッチェル（Joni Mitchell）「Raised On Robbery」のカヴァーや、既存曲の未発表ヴァージョンも収録されます。また1976年に初来日した際の東京・日本武道館公演と、英ロンドンのハマースミス・オデオンで行われた公演の模様を収録した未発表ライヴ・アルバム『Odeon Budokan』も収録されます。

ボックスはニール・ヤングのサイトNeil Young Archivesでのみ発売。2021年にはボックスセットではないスリム・ヴァージョンが発売される予定
