ポール・サイモン（Paul Simon）の楽曲を23組のミュージシャンがカヴァーした音源を集めたコンピレーションアルバム『American Tunes: Songs By Paul Simon』が海外で10月4日発売。リリース元は英Ace Records。日本流通盤（帯付き輸入盤）は10月16日発売。

本作には、ロックからレゲエ、アカペラ、AORまで、さまざまなスタイルで再解釈されたポール・サイモンの楽曲を23曲収録。ポール・サイモン自身の協力と、本人からの重要な情報によって編集されたという本人のお墨付きのコレクション盤
