ステレオラブ『Dots and Loops』新装版から未発表音源「The Flower Called Nowhere (Instrumental)」公開

10年ぶりに再始動したステレオラブ（Stereolab）は今年5月より、スタジオ・アルバム7タイトルのリマスター＆エクスパンデッド・エディション・シリーズをスタート。

5月に発売されたシリーズ第1弾、『Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements』（1993年）と『Mars Audiac Quintet』（1994年）に続く第2弾が海外で9月13日に発売されます。

今回のラインナップは

●Emperor Tomato Ketchup (1996)
●Dots and Loops (1997)
●Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night (1999)

の3タイトルで、CDは2枚組、アナログレコードは3枚組。

新たに『Dots and Loops』リマスター＆エクスパンデッド・エディションから「The Flower Called Nowhere」のリマスター音源と、未発表音源「The Flower Called Nowhere (Instrumental)」が公開









リイシュー元はWarp Records／Duophonic UHF Disks。

いずれもメンバーのティム・ゲイン監督のもと、マスタリング・エンジニアのBo Kondrenによってオリジナル・テープからリマスタリングされており、さらに各作品にはデモ、オルタナティブ・テイク、未発表ミックスといったレア音源がボーナストラックとして追加されます。また初回生産限定アナログ盤はクリア・ヴァイナル仕様で、ポスターとティム・ゲイン本人によるライナーノートが封入されます。初回アナログ盤には宝くじスタイルのスクラッチカードも含まれており、受賞者には、年末に独占的なステレオラブのレコードが贈られる予定です。

ステレオラブは、11月にシリーズ第3弾として

●Sound-Dust (2001)
●Margerine Eclipse (2004)

をリリースする予定です。
