プライマル・スクリーム　「Velocity Girl」＆新曲入り7インチ盤を5月発売、「Velocity Girl」リマスター版のMVも公開

プライマル・スクリーム（Primal Scream）は1986年にリリースした「Velocity Girl」と、新曲「Broken」を収めた限定7インチ・シングルレコードを海外で5月24日に発売します。この発表にあわせ、「Velocity Girl」リマスター版のミュージックビデオを公開しています。

「Velocity Girl」はもともと1986年にシングル「Crystal Crescent」のBサイド曲としてリリースされたもの。

プライマル・スクリームは、シングル曲をまとめた新しいコンピレーション・アルバム『Maximum Rock 'N' Roll: The Singles』を海外で5月24日、日本で6月5日に発売します。「Velocity Girl」もこのアルバムに収録されます。

アルバムの海外盤はCD2枚組版に加え、2種類のアナログレコード2枚組版『Maximum Rock 'N' Roll: The Singles Volume 1 1986-2000』『Maximum Rock 'N' Roll: The Singles Volume 2 2000-2016』も発売されます。

日本盤はCD2枚組版のみで、特製三方背BOX仕様のジャパン・デラックス・エディションにはボーナス・トラック2曲を追加収録。またこのエディションのみ、MITCH IKEDAによるバンドのアーカイヴ・ライヴ写真やオフショットなどをまとめたオリジナルの40ページ・フォトブックが同梱されます。
