マイルス・デイヴィス『Birth of the Cool』コンプリート・エディションが初のアナログ盤化

マイルス・デイヴィス（Miles Davis）がクール・ジャズの礎を築いた歴史的名盤、キャピトル・レコードから1957年にリリースしたアルバム『Birth of the Cool（邦題：クールの誕生）』。1998年にCDリリースしたコンプリート・エディション『The Complete Birth of the Cool』が初のアナログレコード化。海外で5月17日発売。リイシュー元はBlue Note/UMe。

『The Complete Birth of the Cool』には、『Birth of the Cool』と、同作誕生のきっかけとなった、ニューヨークのロイヤル・ルーストで行われたマイルス・デイヴィス・ノネットのライヴ・セッションを収録。

今回のアナログ盤には、アーカイブ写真や、書籍『マイルス・デイヴィス「カインド・オブ・ブルー」創作術』を書いたアシュリー・カーンによる新しいエッセイを掲載したブックレットが付属されます
