フェアーグラウンド・アトラクション（Fairground Attraction）での活躍でも知られるエディ・リーダー（Eddi Reader）。4年ぶりの最新ソロ・アルバム『Cavalier』がSpotifyで配信開始。全曲リスニング可



アルバムは海外で9月28日、日本で10月24日に発売。日本盤ボーナストラックあり。リリース元は海外はReveal Records、日本はソニーミュージック。

スタジオ・アルバムのリリースは2014年の『Vagabond』以来。通算11作目。

新作のレコーディングはスコットランドのグラスゴーで行われ、エディ・リーダーとジョン・ダグラスによってプロデュースされています。アルバムは全16曲入りで、最新の音楽と伝統的な音楽の両方を取り入れた作品となっています。レコーディングにはブー・ヒュワディーン （ギター）、アラン・ケリー（アコーディオン）、イアン・カー（ギター）らが参加しています。
