歴代ベスト・アルバム・カヴァーを選ぶ投票企画スタート　英国初の＜National Album Day＞記念

歴代ベスト・アルバム・カヴァーを選ぶ投票企画が英サイトArt Vinylでスタート。英国では、10月13日に初の＜National Album Day＞が行われる予定で、それにあわせて企画されています。

＜National Album Day＞では、英BBC Radio 2が歴代ベスト・アルバムを発表するなど、“アルバム”についての様々なイベント・企画が行われる予定。

今回の歴代ベスト・アルバム・カヴァーを選ぶ投票企画もそのひとつ。対象は過去70年間に発表されたアルバム。ファンは、音楽業界で活躍し高い評価を得ているデザインのエキスパート達が選んだ70タイトルの候補の中から3タイトルを選んで投票できます。投票の結果は11月末に発表されます。

候補70タイトルは展示イベントも行われており、現在はロンドンのウォータールー駅で開催されています。以降、マンチェスターやグラスゴーの駅にも展示されます。いずれも入場無料。
