スロッビング・グリッスルがラスト・アルバム『Desertshore / The Final Report』を発売

スロッビング・グリッスル（Throbbing Gristle）がラスト・アルバムを11月にバンドのレーベルIndustrial Recordsから発売。

アルバムは2枚組で、ニコ（Nico）の同名作（70年）をカヴァーした『Desertshore』と、バンドのオリジナル・アルバム『The Final Report』をセットにした『Desertshore / The Final Report』としてリリースされます。

『Desertshore』はもともと、2010年に亡くなったピーター・クリストファーソンが発売を準備していたもので、クリストファーソン亡き後、クリス・カーターとコージー・ファニ・トゥッティが引き継ぎ完成させた作品。アントニー＆ザ・ジョンソンズ（Antony and the Johnsons）のアントニー・ヘガティ、アインシュテュルツェンデ・ノイバウテン（Einsturzende Neubauten）のブリクサ・バーゲルト、ソフト・セル（Soft Cell）のマーク・アーモンド（Marc Almond）らがゲスト参加しています。

『The Final Report』は2009〜10年に、クリス・カーターのスタジオで行われたレコーディング・セッションの音源で、クリストファーソンもセッションに参加しています。全10曲。

なお、2010年頃からバンドを離れているジェネシス・P・オリッジは本作には関与していない模様。

リリースは海外で11月26日。
